Welcome to ShapeWorks

Pilates personal one to one training, and group classes in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire area.

Based in Yateley, Hampshire. Amy is a STOTT trained and certified pilates instructor, teaching pilates to individual clients, group classes, and corporate groups.

Don’t just stick to the quick fix solutions, try pilates as the long term solution for you!

 

Learn with me how to build your core strength. Pilates is a low impact exercise regime that focuses on correcting your posture, strengthening your whole body, whilst working on your balance, flexibility and stamina.

Personal pilates training available in a location of your choice, choose to visit me, or have your training in the comfort of your own home.

 

Your first personal pilates training session includes a free 30 minute Initial consultation. It's a great opportunity for you to discuss any postural problems you may be experiencing, if you have any old, or current injuries, or what you really want to achieve from your personal pilates training.

 

Personal one to one training will enable you to achieve so much more from your workout. You will get a greater understanding of the five basic principles, and the repertoire of exercises will be tailor made to suit you. Exercise notes are provided to enable you to continue your pilates practise at home in between your personal training sessions.


Small group pilates classes at venues in Yateley, and zoom classes. Your first class with me is free!

 

My small friendly group classes are available Monday to Saturday. All my classes are mixed ability and designed for you to work at your own level. We cover a full range of exercises, with exercise options and levels to accommodate everyone. My classes are a blend of core exercises, stretches, and balance work.

 

Men only class option. Men need pilates too! Men are welcome to all of my mixed ability classes, but if you want to focus on a little bit more stretch and a few more power core moves, this class will suit you.

 

If you are new to pilates, and have no injuries, you are very welcome to join a class without a personal training session. Complete beginners are always welcome. I do encourage you to book a personal training session prior to your first class if you are experiencing any joint, or muscle discomfort. You will need to learn some modifications to apply to certain exercises before you join the group class.

Amy goes beyond the role of a pilates teacher.  She has great knowledge of the body and advises her pupils individually. They are also fun and friendly classes. Highly recommend! - Gilly
